9/11 Twin Towers Relic Donation

Image shows a steel beam from the World Trade Center in New York City, with 2 glass shelves and a wooden bottom shelf, completely surrounded by wood. The shelves have four steins on them from Fire Houses in New York City.

West Pend Oreille Fire District Chief Jamie Panton wants to thank Lenore Wheaton, owner of the Mangy Moose, for her recent donation of a 911 Twin Towers Relic.

According to Lenora, the metal centerpiece in the picture is from the Twin Towers in New York, and she had a cabinet maker design and make this piece. Also pictured are mugs from the New York Fire Departments she collected from a friend who was a New York Firefighter.

Jamie said, “My team of volunteer firefighters and EMTs are very appreciative of this generous gift for our firehouse, and it has been displayed prominently in our training area for everyone to see and remember their sacrifices.”
